Fair Trade Music International has joined the global creator community to condemn, in the strongest terms possible, the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This unjustified and brutal act of aggression is an assault on the lives, rights and freedoms of the Ukrainian people and on the irreplaceable culture they have given to the world.
We stand in steadfast solidarity with our Ukrainian sisters and brothers as they resist this act of savagery, and through their courage and humanity, we hope and believe that they will prevail. We also join in support of those members of our community within Russia who are bravely expressing their opposition to the barbarism currently being targeted towards the Ukrainian people.
Together with our partners at CIAM, we encourage our fellow creators around the world to raise their voices in forceful opposition to this unlawful invasion and to share their revulsion of the current Russian regime which has perpetrated this assault.
