Fair Trade Music reaches Japan

Fair Trade Music Japan

At the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC), Fair Trade Music International was high on the agenda during a full week of events.

The International Council of Music Authors (CIAM) represented the campaign and circulated copies of the Fair Trade Music Compensation Study to the attendees. The CIAM president, Lorenzo Ferrero, also joined the chair of JASRAC, Shunichi Tokura, and Yves Nilly, Chair of Writers and Directors Worldwide, in a Symposium on Copyright with more than 400 attendees.
